(Los Angeles, CA) – The 7th Annual Los Angeles Culture Festival (LACF)returns, bigger and better than ever! On Saturday, June 23, 2018, Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles will miraculously transform into a Grand Carnival and Street Extravaganza with a parade that ends at the Carnival Culture Village.
The Los Angeles Culture Festival, is a non-profit 501© (3) tax exempt organization, and Hollywood Carnival LLC (HC) is a joint venture. Together they proudly present a world culture festival, expressing the colors of culture and freedom of the world as one people representing, a celebration of our culture and traditions featuring colorful costumes, dancers, food, art, and music from around the world including; South America, Caribbean, Mexico, Asia, Central America, Africa, Middle East and Europe.
For 2-miles, 50,000 spectators will witness parade-goers and masqueraders dressed in vibrant, breathtaking costumes dancing to pulsating rhythms of the world. The parade route begins at 10:30 AM on Hollywood Blvd. and Western Ave. and ending on Hollywood Blvd. and Highland Ave. at the Carnival Culture Village, 6800 Hollywood Blvd, that will feature many celebrities, influencers, grand sound stage, liquor bars, international cuisines, and concert performances.
Soca Music King Machel Montano, will perform in the Carnival Culture Village and is the Ambassador for the festival.
The parade celebration will commence with the Grand Marshal and Parade Queen cutting the ribbon for the Parade of the Bands; making it the perfect opportunity for Press and Celebrities participation.
The pre-and-post events, begin on Thursday, June 21 and end on Sunday, June 24 as follows:
