ISLAND AND CITY STYLE FUSE TOGETHER WITH THE SPRING 2013 LAUNCH OF ARTHUR AND LIVINGSTON ACCESSORIES

South Orange, N.J. March 4th, 2013 – Take your accessories from the seashore to the sidewalk with island-inspired jewelry from Arthur and Livingston (www.arthurandlivingston.com). This new line of handcrafted accessories carries inspiration from island nature while featuring contemporary elements that make each piece practical and appropriate for every day wear.

“This collection is the best of both worlds” says Designer and President Nicole Antoinette. “It encompasses the beauty and simplicity of island life but contains those unique and bold characteristics that are synonymous with the city.” Island style jewelry has often been limited to tropical vacations and exotic getaways, but Arthur and Livingston is designed to bring the popular fashions of the island seashore and effortlessly incorporate them into the sidewalks of the city.
Highlights from the Spring/Summer debut collection overflow with vibrant colors and gemstones reflective of island nature. Irregular shaped gemstones like coral, mother of pearl, and turquoise give the collection an authentic, earthy vibe.  All pieces are adorned with bold, gold-plated metal chains for contemporary character and comfortable wear. “Each piece is carefully handcrafted with uniquely different stones,” says Antoinette, “no two pieces are exactly the same.”
Nicole Antoinette has a love for all things fashion. Having worked in the fashion industry for over 6 years, Nicole designed this unique accessories line to fuse her two worlds- Island and City. She began designing and crafting jewelry in 2009 as a hobby and has since evolved that love into her debut accessories collection. Arthur and Livingston, named after Nicole’s two Barbadian grandfathers, is influenced both by her Caribbean heritage and city lifestyle.
Arthur and Livingston accessories range from $48-$98 and can be purchased directly at www.arthurandlivingston.com
