NEW YORK, NY – This past Saturday, February 9th was a wonderful day for Son Jung Wan! The designer debuted her Fall 2013 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City with actress Brooke Shields sitting front row. Later that day, Kaley Cuoco, star of the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, attended the Hennessy Toasts Achievements In Music With GRAMMY Host LL Cool J And Mark Burnett in Los Angeles wearing one of SJW’s designs. Both actresses looked gorgeous in Son Jung Wan; Brooke in an amethyst one-shoulder silk dress and Kaley in a tweed silver peplum dress, both from the designer’s Spring 2013 Collection.

About Son Jung Wan:
Born and raised in South Korea, Son Jung Wan, majored in Industrial Craft at Sookmyung Women's University and after graduating, attended design school at International Mode in Seoul. In 1989, Son decided to open a small shop just across the street from Galleria Department Store so she could house and sell her then small collection of stylish wears. Seeing how successful her store was, Galleria offered her a shop only a year later and from there the Son Jung Wan brand grew.
Today, Son Jung Wan is Korea’s most successful designer, with over US $50 million in sales worldwide in 2011. The collection can now be found in retail stores across the USA including New York City; Palm Beach, FL; the DC Metro area; Tulsa, OK and Pittsburgh, PA.
Son debuted her Fall 2013 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City at Lincoln Center on Saturday February 9th.
