Trace Cyrus has a new clothing line - Southern Made Hollywood Paid
Southern Made Hollywood Paid was started by me, Trace Cyrus, in 2009. Most of you know me from the band Metro Station. I grew up in the south in a town outside of Nashville, Tennessee. I love it there and will always consider Tennessee my real home. I moved to California at the age 16.
The south is where I grew up and California is where my life really took off. Hollywood is where I met my band, started playing shows, and by the age of 17 was getting a record deal and a chance to tour the world. Music is my true passion in life and Hollywood really gave me the opportunity to meet the right people and let me live out my dreams.
Also, one of the things I love in life is art. That's one reason my entire body is covered in tattoos. I've always been into fashion and thought it would be amazing to have a clothing line - just never thought I would have a chance to do something like that.
Once I finally had the opportunity to have one of my own I really wanted the name of it to represent me. That is why I decided on Southern Made Hollywood Paid. I feel it tells a lot about me, my life, and my story. I love any way to express myself in life, and that's why I started SMHP. I also recently started Ashland High and am excited to release my first solo album.
