Miami, FL (February 2013) - Gypsy culture and North American aestheticism are the key inspiration in the introduction of the Petit Pois Spring 2013 Collection by Viviana G. The Spring 2013 line breathes boldness and flair into everyday basics and invokes a bohemian woman who effortlessly transitions her garments from a day at the office to a  night out on the town. 

Viviana G, the creative designer behind the brand, combines both elements of design and gives birth to an entirely new look. Her signature style draws inspiration from various backgrounds, resulting in a chic, ready-to-wear collection for stylish women looking for flair and femininity. Viviana G highlights neutral colors along with the boldness of blues, reds and floral prints.  Each garment is a reflection of the traditional silhouettes women yearn for, using classic mesh material and original designs, and attracting consumers around the globe.

About:

Venezuelan designer Viviana Gabeiras, attended the Parsons School of Design and graduated amongst Marc Jacobs, Isaac Mizrahi and Tracy Reese. As a student, she won the honorable mention from the Rayon Council during the New York Fashion Design Competition. She also worked alongside Michaele Vollbratch, Ann Crimms and the Embroidery Council of America.

Since Petit Pois' inception 12 years ago, Viviana's designs have been featured in many fashion publications including the cover of Women’s Wear Daily, winning the CILA award for “Best Coordinate Moderate” in New York City in 2007. Viviana won Petit Pois the Best Prêt-à-Porter Style Award at MBIFW (Miami Beach International Fashion Week) in 2012. This year, she won the award for Miami Icon Designer and Women in the Arts award. Petit Pois has received recognition from high profile celebrities such as Shakira, recording artist Mya, Florence Welsh from Florence and the Machine and super model Heidi Lindgren, amongst others.

Today, Viviana G's designs are influenced by her experiences and lifestyle. Viviana continues to design and manufacture her premium luxury knit collections at her Miami headquarters.

The Spring 2013 collection, starts at affordable price of $50 - $350, top sizes include small, medium large or 0 to 12; pants are available in American sizes of 0 to 14.
