E! News Exclusive: Shahs of Sunset's Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi Is Ending Her One-Month Marriage
Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi is ending her marriage.
E! News can exclusively confirm that a little over a month after tying the knot with her boyfriend, Shalom, she feels she can no longer continue their relationship.
"During the past few weeks, certain facts have come to GG's attention that have made her realize her marriage can no longer continue, and, in fact, should never have happened," the reality star's rep Steve Honig tells E! News. "She is hoping to end the relationship as amicably and respectfully as possible."
Meanwhile, GG surprised her fans and followers when she announced her surprise marriage with Shalom on Valentine's Day.
The couple got engaged in December and then decided to get married in a courthouse the following month.
"January 25, 2017 We walked into a courthouse just to see what type of paperwork is needed for getting married. They sarcastically told us there's a small chapel we could go to and do it right then," she captioned a video of the ceremony that has since been deleted. "An hour later, we walked out of that chapel as husband & wife. We clearly weren't dressed for it and I couldn't stop laughing from shock... but f--k it... we're not like ordinary people."
Just last week, she stepped out at OK! Magazine's Pre-Oscar party, still donning her massive wedding, which she couldn't help but gush to E! News about.
"He did a good job," she told us exclusively before joking, "I had to guide him but it's okay."
However, six days ago on Instagram, she apparently had "reached her breaking point," posting a cryptic photo with a clear message.

E! NEWS EXCLUSIVE: Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Break Up
E! NEWS EXCLUSIVE: Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Break Up: What Went Wrong
Sometimes, it's just not meant to be.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom ended their relationship after 10 months of dating. They came together to release a joint statement, thereby getting ahead of the rumors and headlines.
"Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time," their reps said in a statement.
Now, E! News can exclusively reveal what went wrong between the two, who seemed picture perfect at the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party.
"Katy pulled the plug," the source reveals. "It was a few events that happened over the past few months. They both still love each other very much, though, and getting back together could happen once they have some space."
Another source, however, tells us that the split "was mutual."
Despite ending their courtship, Katy and Orlando are keeping things as amicable as possible. Over the course of their relationship, Katy developed ac lose bond with the Pirates of the Caribbean star's son, Flynn Bloom, so the "Chained to the Rhythm" songstress will want to maintain it.
"They are still in contact and want to keep everything between them pretty private," the insider adds. "Katy has built a really strong connection with Flynn. It's sad but it will work out how it's supposed to."
The surprise came as a split to many, as they were spotted together at the VF party, and in mid-January, Katy hosted a surprise 40th birthday party for her then-boyfriend. His mother attended the bash, which seemed to solidify their serious standing. Orlando also joined Katy's family for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Another source told E! News over the summer that they were "happier than ever," but obviously the tides turned. Their ever-busy schedules also could have played a role in their relationships—Katy is promoting her upcoming fourth studio album and Orlando has dedicated a bunch of his time to UNICEF.

Retail Entrepreneur Sam Sisakhti Starts Fashion Charity to Help Underprivileged
A new charity called the “Believe in Yourself Project” is helping to replace the poor body image that afflicts many girls and women. This image is heightened by what the traditional fashion industry deems as beautiful: Women are expected to appear a certain way and live up to a manufactured and unrealistic notion of what beauty is. At the same time, strained finances can prevent many girls from keeping up with what’s trending or cool, making them feel isolated among their friends for not being able to afford clothing that is deemed as "in" socially. In an attempt to promote a positive body image, Believe in Yourself http://www.believeinyourself. Over the past year, UsTrendy (www.UsTrendy.com) Founder and Believe in Yourself President Sam Sisakhti has given formal dresses to underprivileged high school girls and college students across the country, for them to wear at their school dances. Donations began last winter, and Sisakhti reports that many of the girls in the program have had the self confidence to attend their first school dance. Over last decade as CEO of UsTrendy, Sisakhti has grown increasingly concerned with the cyber bullying and body shaming that he has seen online. At the same time, he realized the enormous social pressure that many young girls feel to try to be hip and socially cool by wearing clothing that is seen as stylish. Many girls are unable to afford these fashions and can often feel ashamed socially. These observations inspired Sam to launch the Believe in Yourself Project, a foundation that will provide needy girls with dresses for upcoming dances and at same time promote a positive body image through speakers and mentors. This month, girls with limited financial resources in the Washington DC Area received dresses: http://believeinyourself.org/ "It was such an amazing and humbling experience to hear the stories of the girls and see their excitement about receiving a brand new dress to wear for their upcoming dance. Many of them said it was one of their first new items that were not handed down" says Sam Sisakhti. |
Sam Sisakhti is the founder and CEO of UsTrendy.
