Starting with the Globes, Lily Collins did not disappoint. The star was dressed in a beautiful, pink embroidered Zuhair Murad haute couture ball gown, making her look romantically poised throughout the night.
This Game of Thrones star came to conquer. Sophie Turner looked edgy and chic in a sheer, cream and black Louis Vuitton ensemble. To finish off the bold number, her sophisticated smoky eye added the perfect balance.
Emily Ratajkowski was a golden goddess as she walked down the red carpet. The model steamed up the show in a plunging yellow Reem Acra number with a dramatic slit.
In case we couldn't love two-piece sets enough, Lea Michele slayed at the Grammys in an adorned Roberto Cavali ensemble.
Then there was Camila Cabello who had a serious princess moment at the Grammys. The singer's pastel colored Miri Couture dress made her look like a whimsical gem.
The Grammys wouldn't be complete without a couple standout looks. Spicing things up was Paris Jackson who gave off retro-glam vibes in a rainbow-hued Balmain jumpsuit.
This couple always knows how to put on an amazing show for the bot. Not only did the new parents have some seriously adorable moments on the carpet, but Chrissy Teigen and John Legend also perfectly complimented each other with their on-point and elegant style.
Rocking the latest feminine fringe style, Olivia Culpo's Marchesa Dress was a show-stopper at the Oscars. The gown's carefully-crafted, beaded details made the look flow elegantly down the carpet.
The Academy Awards are all about looking sophisticated and Taraji P. Henson did just that. TheHidden Figures star was dreamy in a custom blue velvet Alberta Ferretti gown topped with a stunning diamond necklace.

E! NEWS EXCLUSIVE: Viola Davis Reacts to Her Oscar Win: "I Felt Like a Princess"
E! NEWS http://www.eonline.com/
Viola Davis shined as brightly as her golden Oscar statue after winning the award for Best Supporting Actress.
E! News' Zuri Hall caught up with the Fences actress and her husband at the Governors Ball, the official 2017 Oscars after-party, and Davis was still over the moon about her big win. "It's wonderful, glorious," she told Zuri. "I felt like a princess. I never feel like a princess you know except for my husband [Julius Tennan] when I got married I felt like a princess. It was just you know a culmination of dreaming big and your dreams being bigger than your circumstances." Davis' speech brought tears to most who were watching, especially when she paid tribute to August Wilson and her "captain" Denzel Washington. Although she didn't necessarily plan exactly what she was going to say, Davis did have an idea of the message she wanted to convey. "I really wanted to honor august Wilson because what he wrote about was so universal and so specific," Davis continued. "I wanted to honor him in whatever I said, and honor you know just the beauty of being an artist." Davis' emotional, heartfelt speech also honored all the artists in the room. "Thank you to the academy," she began her victory speech. "You know, there's one place that all the people with the people with the greatest potential are gathered, one place and that's the graveyard. People ask me all the time, 'What kind of stories do you want to tell, Viola?' And I say, 'Exhume those bodies. Exhume those stories. The stories of the people who dreamed big and never saw those dreams to fruition. People who fell in love and lost.’" She continued, "I became an artist and thank God I did because we are the only profession that celebrates what it means to live a life. So, here's to August Wilson, who exhumed and exalted the ordinary people." And if the tears weren't flowing yet, they certainly started to fall as soon as she mentioned her kids, husband and parents, the latter of whom taught her "good or bad, how to fail, how to love, how to hold, how to lose." She added, "My husband and my daughter—my heart, you and Genesis. You teach me every day how to live, how to love. I'm so glad that you are the foundation of my life. Thank you to the academy. Thank you." |

E! Live From The Red Carpet Exclusive: The Best Red Carpet Quotes of the 2017 Oscars: Happy Tears and Fangirling Over Lord of the Rings
E!'s Live From The Red Carpet http://www.eonline.com/news/
It's Hollywood's biggest night!
And, like every other year, Hollywood's biggest night comes with huge pressure for the stars. Pressure to pick the perfect dress or suit, pressure not to fall on live television, pressure to lose gracefully or win with a killer speech. Nervous yet?
But before all the tension of the entire award season comes to a head, the A-listers get to let off some steam on the red carpet. And, they go straight to E! News' Ryan Seacrest to do so. Everyone turned up to chat with the host, from Lucas Hedges, whose first impression of the Oscars red carpet was that he couldn't believe he got to talk to Seacrest himself to Lin-Manuel Miranda, who bragged that he got his tuxedo from the same store as high school prom suit.
"I graduated, went to college for a year, and completely forgot the movie even existed." — Lucas Hedges on his life after wrapping Manchester by the Sea. Oh, how times have changed.
"It's good to see you outside of the gym!" — Olivia Culpoand Ryan are jazzed to be chatting when they're not sweating.
"We couldn't believe that we were doing the movie together so we were laughing, and we couldn't take ourselves seriously. But we had to!" — Isabelle Hupert and her daughter had some family ties on Elle.
"I hate you for making me cry before the Oscars have even started." — the E! News team made Lin-Manuel Miranda a special video that tugged right at the heartstrings.
"I tried my best to not be an actor; I really tried." —Sometimes careers are just written in the stars, right Gael Garcia Bernal?
"They tried to act really cool about it, but then whenever the actor's turned their backs, they were like whatttt." — Viggo Mortenson surprised his Captain Fantastic costars with a Lord of the Rings reunion, and the reaction was just what we'd expect.
"Well, I love to work." — Sting keeps it simple.
"I remember my aunt was here, trying on dresses, and I told her she should wear the skunk dress! It was a black and white dress." — Emma Robertson her memories of Julia Roberts' Oscars of the past.
"It went really well, and I still have no idea what they do. But I know it's important, and I know I appreciate them." — Leslie Mann on the Sci Tech Awards.
"Wow, can you imagine 27 more years?" — Judd Apatow contemplates being married as long as Ryan's parents have.
"He won't say it, but he's nervous. He's very nervous. There's a bit of a piano medley tonight that he doesn't know if he can do." — Chrissy Teigen tells us all what John Legendis really thinking.
"I can do it, but I just learned it this week!" — But John Legend won't let her get the last word!
"I've gotta say, this is the coolest thing I've ever been given on the red carpet before." — Pharrell Williams is moved by E! News' gift of stuffed rocket ships for his new triplets.
"When I read this script, I immediately got upset, because I felt a dream had been stolen from me. The fact that I didn't know these women even existed!" — Hidden Figures had a huge impact on Taraji P. Henson (and many others).
"My mum is cool as a cucumber about all this stuff. She doesn't really care. She's one of those perfect mothers who would love me even if I was a murderer: She would come and bake me cookies." — Can we get in on that family, Andrew Garfield?
"I'm wearing Stuart Weitzman's very comfortable shoes, so I'm a happy woman right now." — Octavia Spencer knows the key to a good night.
"She has a house, honestly, that you could park a plane in." — Taraji P. Henson has some fancy digs, according to Pharrell Williams.
"My other wife, Tom Ford!" — Justin Timberlake splits his allegiance between Jessica Biel and the designer of his Oscars tuxedo.
"I'm a special kind of tired right now." — Mahershala Ali on having a baby the same week as the Oscars, in a nutshell.
"Mine is spray-painted on my face." — Why Dakota Johnson's makeup isn't going anywhere.
"My mom is constantly on the verge of tears." — Dev Patel's mother is every mother.
Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP
"I must be some sort of glutton for punishment." — Scarlett Johansson on her upcoming movie roles.
"I was more nervous getting ready at home than I am right now. That's more stressful." — The actual red carpet is smooth sailing compared to the anticipation for Halle Berry.
"He sends you a text, and you believe what he says? He's one of our great writers, but he doesn't write nonfiction!" — Casey Affleck's Manchester by the Sea director loves to spread embarrassing stories about him.
"I feel like I can play Chess on it when I get bored." — Priyanka Chopra's structural dress kills two birds with one stone.
"I don't know what he has in store for me, but it's probably going to be ugly." Matt Damon is feeling a little weary about pranks from nemesis Jimmy Kimmel.
"I hope she's not wearing really tall heels, because I'm not ready for that." — Jamie Dornan is trying to calculate the height difference between himself and presenting partner Dakota Johnson.

EXCLUSIVE!
Barry Jenkins, Nicole Kidman, Andrew Garfield, Michelle Williams and More React to the 2017 Oscars' Best Picture Mix-Up
by Zach Johnson | Mon, Feb 27, 2017 6:15 AM
Anything can happen on live TV, as the 2017 Oscars reminded viewers Sunday night.
After La La Land was incorrectly named Best Picture—before the rightful winner, Moonlight, was revealed—E! News got a play-by-play from the people involved as well as the star-studded audience. "It's a little bit mixed up, but [I'm] happy as hell. We won Best Picture," director Barry Jenkins told E! News' Zuri Hall at Governors Ball moments after the mix-up. "As a kid, you watch the Oscars and you imagine being up onstage, and I was up there twice. It's a beautiful feeling."
Despite the embarrassing error, Jenkins was grateful that the film's producers (Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Adele Romanski) were being recognized in the same category as La La Land producers Fred Berger, Jordan Horowitz and Marc Platt. "At first it was bittersweet," Jenkins said. "We're all friends, you know? We hope everybody can win. And those guys, we spend a lot of time on the road together, with all that crew and us. So, I wasn't surprised when they 'won.’"
"Any of these nine films could have been chosen. But then when the switch happened, I have to say, they were extremely gracious—so gracious, in fact, that I think it made the bittersweetness and the shock even more," Jenkins, who received the award for Best Adapted Screenplay, told E! News. "I felt bad for them. I just love them. These things happen. I make movies. We film a scene, I don't know, 10-15 times...Nobody does those things on purpose. It wasn't malicious."
"I will say that I saw the card, and when I saw the name of our movie on it, the small film made in Miami in 25 days about a kid who often isn't centered in a narrative, I felt damn good," Jenkins admitted. "I felt so good. It's an affirmation that all these different Americans are valid."
When all was said and done, Jenkins merely wanted to celebrate Moonlight's triple wins with his cast and crew. As the director told E! News, "I am going to go drink champagne and dance!"
Hall also caught up with La La Land's Horowitz, who said he too had "mixed emotions" about the night, due to the Best Picture error. "[It's] certainly not what I expected when I came in here tonight. I don't know that that's ever happened in the history of the Oscars," Horowitz said. "But I'll tell you what: I was really happy to be able to give it to all my friends from Moonlight.”
Echoing Jenkins' sentiments, he said, "We've been on a real journey together for the past six months." As for the embarrassment he may have felt onstage, Horowitz said, "It was a thing. When I saw that envelope on the stage eventually and it said them on it, there was no option."
Horowitz then walked E! News through what happened during the night's most awkward moment.
"There was a stagehand guy who started buzzing around looking for the envelope, and I had taken the envelope from whomever—either Warren Beatty or Faye Dunaway. I walked up there, I took the thing and I did my speech and I was just holding the envelope. Then one of the stagehand guys came on and started looking for the envelope and asked me for my envelope. He opened it and it said Emma Stone, La La Land' on it, right? At that moment it was clear that there was a problem, and so they started looking for the Best Picture envelope," the movie producer said. "I don't know who had it; Warren maybe had it, or someone else? I don't know."
"At certain point there was clearly a Best Picture envelope on it that said Moonlight on it, and I happened to be standing next to the stagehand when that happened. It happened really fast," Horowitz said. "Listen, I'm a producer. I gather things together and I change directions and I march things forward. I had just finished saying how much love there was in the community and I want to do diverse and bold work, and so to be able to actually put that into action and make that physical by bringing those guys up onstage and giving them the award that they won...I don't want to say it was an honor, because it was really confusing, [but it felt right].”
Going into the ceremony, only two people know the winners: Brian Cullinanand Martha Ruiz. PricewaterhouseCoopers, the accounting firm which has tallied the ballots for years, issued an apology Sunday night. "We sincerely apologize to Moonlight, La La Land, Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway and Oscar viewers for the error that was made during the award announcement for Best Picture. The presenters had mistakenly been given the wrong category envelope and when discovered, was immediately corrected. We are currently investigating how this could have happened and deeply regret that this occurred," the company told E! News. "We appreciate the grace with which the nominees, the Academy, ABC and Jimmy Kimmel handled the situation.”
Michelle Williams, a Best Supporting Actress nominee for her role inManchester by the Sea, had a front row seat when television history was made. "The guy was right in front of us, talking into his headset saying, 'La La Land did not win. Get them off the stage! Moonlight won!'" she recalled to E! News' Marc Malkin at Governors Ball. "He was right in front of us." Busy Philipps, Williams' date for the 89th Academy Awards, added, "I was sitting next to Ben Affleck—I don't even know him—and I grabbed him and I was like, 'You have to do something. Go get them!'"
"That was just so bizarre. So awful," Nicole Kidman, a Best Actress nominee for her role in Lion, said at Governors Ball. "I can't imagine what they were thinking up there. I feel so bad, but, you know, things do happen. We're human and mistakes happen.”
Kidman's husband, Keith Urban, looked for the silver lining in the snafu. "Both movies will now get a lot of attention tomorrow," the country musician said, "so maybe both now are winners."
"We all make mistakes all the time, so there's something incredibly beautiful about seeing it on stage," Andrew Garfield, a Best Actor nominee for his role in Hacksaw Ridge, told E! News exclusively. "There was something quite beautiful about seeing a mistake on such a mass scale. That's what's so human about that: There was something wonderful about the inescapable humanity, and I'm very, very happy for Moonlight. It's a beautiful film, and a film for our times.”
Mahershala Ali, who was named Best Supporting Actor for his role in Moonlight, shared his version of events in the press room backstage. "La La Land has done so well and it's resonated with so many people, especially in this time when people need a sense of buoyancy in their life and need some hope and light. So, that film has really impacted people in a very different way than Moonlight," the actor explained. "When their name was read, I wasn't surprised. And I am really happy for them. It's a group of some extraordinary people—in front of the camera and behind the camera—so I was really happy for them. And then when I did see security or people coming out onstage and their moment was being disrupted in some way, I got really worried."
When Moonlight was named as the rightful winner, Ali said, "It just threw me a bit because—it threw me more than a bit—but, you know, I just didn't...I didn't want to go up there and take anything from somebody. It's very hard to feel joy in a moment like that...but I feel very fortunate for all of us to have walked away with the Best Picture award. It's pretty remarkable."
Ali wasn't alone in feeling that way. E! News caught up with his Moonlight co-stars at Governors Ball, including Best Supporting Actress nominee Naomie Harris, and they all took the Best Picture error in stride. "I'm still in shock, to be quite honest with you," Harris said. "It's going to take me a while to process—like someone might come along and say, 'We got it wrong again.’"
