At the event, shoppers had the unique opportunity to use their smartphone to scan the tee, launching a customized PromoJam mobile experience with exclusive content. By texting “MEALS” to 20222, fashion enthusiasts could donate $5 to the Saint Vincent Meals on Wheels Foundation and make a difference from their mobile phone. To share the experience further on social media, they could easily “LIKE” each partner brand on Facebook.
The ‘Scan To Give’ T-shirts were available for the first time ever last night during Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills’ invitation-only Fashion’s Night Out event for $45, with 100% of the profits benefiting the Saint Vincent Meals on Wheels Foundation. The evening was dedicated to featuring young professionals and select fashion brands making a change in the community.
The revolutionary tee will be available for a limited time only to the public, and can be purchased at http://junkfoodclothing.com throughout the holiday season.
This tech-meets-fashion tee is the official launch of Junk Food Clothing and PromoJam’s social QR code shirts, with more tees to be announced soon. Each QR code tee is compatible with iPhone, Android and Blackberry 6 & 7.
